Hi my name is Rahena.
I began my career as an Educator in January 2009. My first role was with Early Learning Family Day Care, where I worked from January 2009 until July 2011. Subsequently, I joined Brimbank Family Day Care and served there from July 2011 to June 2019. Currently, I am with Our Village Family Child Care. I completed a Diploma of Children’s Services in 2010.
I live with my husband and youngest daughter. My family is a constant source of support and encouragement. We cherish our time together, enjoying short road trips, cinema outings, and dining experiences on weekends. Additionally, I actively participate in various social and community programs, including fundraising for charities such as the Community Network for Disadvantaged People (CNDP).
As an educator, I am passionate about working with children. I take great pride in aiding their physical and cognitive development and ensuring their safety. I excel at settling new children, particularly young babies, by providing a safe, home-like environment.
Both the children in my care and I enjoy spending time in the garden, watering plants, drawing, painting, and reading stories together.
I am hardworking, committed, friendly, and always willing to help others.
My native language is Bangla, and I warmly welcome all children and their families to my Family Day Care.
My hours of operation are from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with full-time or part-time bookings available. I am also able to accommodate weekend bookings upon request.
