Chai-Fong

(Keilor Park)

Hello, my name is Chai.

I live in Keilor Park and am a mother of four adult children. I enjoy gardening and traveling. I have been a Family Day Care Educator for over 25 years, and hold a Diploma of Children's Services Early Childhood Education and Care. I won the Western Region Educator of the Year Award in 2012 and 2013.

I love working with children and seeing them explore, learn, and develop. My philosophy is to provide high-quality education and care in a safe, nurturing, and fun family environment. I offer various indoor and outdoor activities based on children's interests and needs, such as arts and crafts, dramatic play, gardening, and outings. I also provide pickups and drop-offs to the local kindergarten.

I have extensive teaching experience. I taught at a primary school in Malaysia, and I taught Chinese language at a community language school in Melbourne for over 15 years.

I'm also a member of the East Keilor Community Garden, where I teach children about gardening and sustainability.

I work closely with parents to plan programs, ensuring children feel secure, valued, and have a sense of belonging.

My working days are Monday to Friday.
