Justine Phang

(Sunbury)

I am a diploma-qualified early childhood educator with over a decade of experience in the sector. I specialise in the care of infants and toddlers, while also bringing valuable experience working with children up to primary school age. After years of working in larger early learning environments, I opened my own family day care to offer a more intimate, personalised setting where I can truly focus on individualised care. My approach is deeply rooted in relationship-based care and I provide a learning environment where children can learn to grow their own skills, explore, express themselves, connect with others, and develop life skills in a safe and engaging space. I am also deeply passionate about infant development and early mental health, and I incorporate therapeutic play into my practice to build children’s social-emotional capacity and promote wellbeing. To further support families in these areas, I also hold specialised training in Circle of Security parenting and infant massage. At my home, you will find calm, inviting indoor play spaces and a cozy outdoor yard safe for younger explorers. Having been born in New Zealand and raised in Malaysia, and sharing my home with my husband, who is from Korea, we bring a warm, multicultural perspective to our home environment. We also have two fully indoor house cats that children would be able to say ‘hi’ to from time to time. I love my work with children and enjoy watching them grow and develop into their own person. I consider it a privilege to partner with parents during these crucial early years, and I would be honoured to be a part of your child’s growth and learning journey.
